I am a second year PhD student at University of South Carolina at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in Robotics and my research advisor is Dr. Ioannis Rekleitis.

I am interested in localization in dynamic environments, SLAM, mapping of underwater environments and motion planning for hyper-redundant systems. Currently I am working on shipreck mapping, a project funded by Google, and the development of a new fast motion planner for redundant systems.

I hold my Bachelors degree from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
